Mushrooms are very useful to faeries. Some, larger, faeries wear them as hats. Others use them like umbrellas when the weather is wet. Some faeries, the smallest of all, use them as doors to travel from the world-next-door. It takes a lot of work for a faery to make a door, and mushrooms don’t last long, so they really like it when you give them a door. These mushrooms have doors that are just the right size for the very tiny faeries. And the mushroom will last a long time if you look after it. Just plant the mushroom in a suitable plant-pot! These mushrooms are quite safe to handle – but you should always be very careful not to touch or eat real mushrooms from the woods.
